On May 11 and 12, in Cologne (Germany), the 10th international exhibition of industrial insulation materials and technologies IEX 2016 - Insulation Expo Europe took place. Over 200 companies from 15 countries participated in the exhibition. A distinctive feature of this exhibition was the insulation competition. 10 teams from 9 countries competed for the gold awards.

The exhibition presented materials and technologies in the following areas:

• insulation materials for high and low temperatures;
• materials for technical and industrial sound insulation;
• insulation products for thermal engineering;
• technology for fastening insulation materials;
• insulation materials and systems for fire protection.

During the exhibition visit, the managers of "Inventum Ukraine" studied advanced developments and the latest technologies in the field of thermal insulation, held a number of meetings with the company’s partners, and also established business contacts with new manufacturers of modern insulation materials.
