Manufacture and lining of tuyere nozzles by the low-cement refractory concrete
Implementation:
This is not a single experience in this type of equipment delivery. In 2015 our specialists carried out the refractory lining of 84 nozzles by the low-cement refractory concrete Tuffcrete 47.
Based on the customer's drawings, we have manufactured the nozzle bodies, which were lined and dried according to the order. Lining of the tuyere nozzles was produced by the low-cement refractory concrete Tuffcrete 47. This concrete is perfect for these purposes in terms of its chemical composition and thermal insulation properties. The maximum application temperature of Tuffcrete 47 is 1540 °C, this concrete has low thermal conductivity, high density and minimal linear expansion at high temperatures. Concrete pouring into the formwork of tuyere nozzles was carried out using specialized equipment.
