Within 2 months - from June till August 2014 – experts from “Inventum Ukraine” executed works on the Pipe Rolling Plant to modernize the muffle vacuum resistance furnace, including works on furnace lining. Project documentation had been developed. Works on installation of metal constructions of the furnace frame had been completed, including welding of studs out of heat-resistant steel, priming and painting of the metal surface of the furnace, lining installation, incl. The lining of the furnace with modular units from ceramic fiber and setting of shelves out of lightweight refractory bricks, installation of spiral heating elements of a special alloy on ceramic tubes, their installation. To facilitate the installation and the further repair of lining the furnace roof had been designed as modular units lined beforehand from ceramic fiber removable panels. For furnace lining the modern high-performance lightweight refractory materials had been used - modular blocks, mats, textiles based on ceramic fiber, refractory bricks and mortar. The furnace modernization, including its lining, had been made by our five experts. The commissioning works had been completed successfully and on time.
