Result:
A double-barrel chimney with a height of 40 m was installed, which ensures:
- reliable and safe operation of the solid fuel boiler;
- flexibility of operation and redundancy of the flue gas system;
- manual access for technical maintenance.

Key Features:
- two separate chimney flues (independent channels);
- the design solution provides redundancy: the possibility of boiler operation during maintenance of one of the barrels or load distribution between channels;
- high-rise structure with a metal frame and a guy-wire system to ensure stability;
- installation using a truck crane with a lifting capacity of 95t;
- limited construction site conditions;
- solutions for technical maintenance and monitoring of the chimney condition are provided.
Implementation:
- dismantling of the existing chimney and preparation of the base for the new structure;
- fabrication of the metal frame (exhaust tower) with a total weight of ~15 t;
- installation of the metal frame with the arrangement of a guy-wire system;
- section-by-section fabrication of two chimney flues (1 m each):
- inner liner – stainless steel;
- outer casing – galvanized steel;
- thermal insulation – 50 mm.
- integration of inspection hatches for rapid access and maintenance;
- section-by-section installation of chimney channels with fastening to the metal frame;
- installation of maintenance platforms, ladders, and horizontal sections for cleaning;
- installation of a lightning protection system (aluminum air terminals with grounding).
